Mistletoe RDX™ Architecture
The technology behind Mistletoe products is the patented Mistletoe Re-loadable Direct eXecution (RDX™) architecture, which is based on syntax-directed stream processing. This means that network functions are coded as formal grammar that optimize semantic engines for network and security applications. With all of the flexibility of a general purpose processor and the performance of a dedicated ASIC, it is now possible to economically add intelligence to the network, without sacrificing performance or features.
